The AeroVent™ 1 is:
Fast and Simple to Use. The AeroVent™ 1 aerosol can recycling system operates in a simple one-stroke manner. Just open its lid, place the aerosol can in the AeroVent™ 1 and then close the lid with the convenient handle/clamp. This automatically seals the chamber and punctures the aerosol can at the same time. Wait 10-15 seconds for the pressure and liquids to evacuate. Open the lid and remove the cans/ They are now ready to be discarded as ordinary waste or sold as recyclable steel. It is that simple! Now the aerosol can may be disposed of as trash or sold as recyclable steel.
Versatile. Designed for the smaller waste generator, the AeroVent™ 1 has a unique tray design that accepts a variety of aerosol can sizes up to 3" diameter and 10" length with just the one tray. Quick change aluminum plugs in the lid are changed for different aerosol can sizes making the AeroVent™ 1 a one-size fits all your aerosol can disposal needs.
Economical. AeroVent™ 1 is the most economic aerosol can disposal machine available and will quickly pay for itself. You eliminate the very high cost of hazardous waste disposal and you can actually make money selling the processed aerosol cans as recyclable scrap metal.
Safe. The AeroVent™ 1`s unique design totally seals the chamber and punctures the cans with one stroke - no maneuvering a special clamp or cover for each can and no o-rings to wear out and cause leakage. Also, the interior components and cobalt piercing bits are designed for safety. Drained fluids are collected in the enclosed drum for later disposal and an activated carbon filter is screws into the barrel`s small bung opening to absorb VOC`s and harmful vapors. The replaceable carbon filter is a cartridge design and is easily changed. Each filter can handle up to 600 aerosol cans before changing is required.
Environmentally Friendly. Under EPA guidelines 40CFR 261-268 the processed aerosol cans may now be disposed of a non-hazardous waste (thrown into the dumpster) or recycled and sold (profits) as scrap metal.
Rugged. Manufactured from electrical arc welded structural steel and industrial grade components the AeroVent™ 1`s Aerosol Can Disposal Machine is virtually indestructible. Proudly made in the USA, they are backed by a 18 month limited warranty, the longest in the industry.
